David Tauber –– Sports Editor

A short encounter with David Tauber reveals his easy-going character. The light-hearted joker who claims to “quote Superbad at least once a day.” David is serves the paper as sports editor this year, after spending the previous year as news editor. Throw aside what you normally associate with sports columns, though. David hopes he can inspire readers to think deeply through his sport column, a goal he found easier to achieve in his news column. And joking nature aside, David is prone to some deep thinking himself. He has a passion for business and politics and the workings of the world around him, both politically and economically. He remembers finding this interest at the freshman activity fair, where business teacher Barbara Lewis told him about the benefits of business and the economy. He forms opinions about the world around him and loves considering the issues that matter to our nation. His non-confrontational manner conflicts at times with his strong urge to speak his mind. That said, he tends to do so in the least abrasive way possible.
